Don't let envy fester

Acknowledge it but then MOVE ON

Envy is a natural, human emotion. What I've learned: to acknowledge it but not let it fester. For me, this means being more aware of when and how I use social media.

A few years ago, I posted poll asking how book creators cope with the occasional (or not so occasional) twinge of wistful envy when hearing about a colleague’s success. I go through this sometimes as well, especially if I’m already feeling low or have been going through a rough time. Here's what book creators said. Hope it helps some of you, too!
