Having hobbies outside of work helps fill my creative well

Also a handy of way of clearing my head when I'm work-stressed

Something I've found helps my creative well: to have hobbies and interests outside of work. One of my mine is music; I play flute, keyboard, harp, tin whistle, among other instruments...all with varying levels of (in)competence. 😉 Sometimes when I'm super-stressed with work deadlines or industry politics, I'll play some music. It helps get my head out of the weeds.
