Taking the "what advice would I give my younger self" exercise a step further

What would advice would my future self give me now? And will I take that advice?

It's always an interesting exercise to answer the question:

Q. If you could send your younger self some advice, what would it be?

I would tell my younger self a LOT of things, though I'm not sure how much of it I'd pay attention to ("shut up, old lady! you don't know what you're talking about" etc).

Now, whenever I think of something I wish I could tell my younger self, I turn it around and answer the next question:

Q. What if your future self could send your current self the same or similar advice? Would you / will you listen?

For example, one piece of advice I'd send my younger self would be:

"Enjoy your physical health and youth while you have it. Stop being so self-conscious about how you look. You look just FINE."

I'm 63 years old now. Suppose my 80-year-old self sent back a message that was something like:

"Sure, you may think you're old now. But why now enjoy your physical health and mobility while you have it?"

So I challenge YOU all to do something similar. No need to share publicly unless you want to. What advice would you send your younger self? What similar advice would your future self send your current self? And will you listen?
